Welcome to Prawda ("we", "our", "us").
Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over your personal information.
Prawda is built on a simple principle:
Your career starts with you.
That means we believe your personal information should be treated with the same honesty and respect as the job applications we help you create.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you join the Prawda Early Access waitlist, we collect:
- Your email address
- Any feedback or comments you choose to provide
- How you heard about Prawda, if you choose to provide this
Providing feedback and telling us how you heard about Prawda are both entirely optional.
We may also store a standardised version of your email address so we can recognise duplicate registrations and manage the waitlist accurately.
Consent and registration information
When you join the Early Access waitlist, we also record:
- Whether you agreed to receive Prawda Early Access communications
- Whether you also agreed to optional career tips, product news and promotional emails
- The version of the consent wording shown on the form
- That this consent was submitted from the Early Access form
- The date and time that consent was provided
- The date and time of your registration
- The page or website source associated with your registration, where available
We use this information to keep an accurate record of your consent, manage and audit the Early Access list, understand where registrations come from, and help prevent abuse.
Technical information
We may temporarily process limited technical request information, such as an IP address, to protect the website, prevent abuse and apply rate limits. We do not store this information as part of your Early Access registration unless required for security or legal reasons.
2. Why We Collect Your Information
We collect your information only for legitimate business purposes.
These include:
Managing the Early Access waitlist
We use your email address to:
- Add you to our waitlist
- Send registration confirmations where applicable
- Send you Prawda development updates
- Invite you to Early Access
- Notify you when Prawda becomes available
- Send product updates, launch invitations and free CV resources
If you also choose the optional marketing checkbox, we use your email address to send career tips, product news and promotional emails about Prawda. That choice is separate from Early Access. If you leave it unticked, we do not send those broader marketing emails, and you can still join Early Access. We do not add an existing Early Access registration to broader marketing unless you make that choice.
Improving Prawda
Optional feedback is used to:
- Understand user needs
- Improve the product and Early Access experience
- Help prioritise development work
Optional referral-source and link information is used to:
- Understand how people discover Prawda
- Evaluate which communities, websites or campaigns generate interest
Recording consent
Your consent status and related timestamps are used to:
- Record that you asked to receive Prawda communications
- Record a separate choice for optional marketing emails
- Demonstrate when consent was provided
- Manage withdrawal and deletion requests
Protecting the website
Any technical information we process is used to:
- Prevent spam and abuse
- Apply rate limits
- Investigate suspicious activity
- Maintain security and reliability
3. What We Do Not Do
We do not:
- Sell your personal information.
- Rent your personal information.
- Invent information about you.
- Share your information with advertisers.
- Use your information for unrelated marketing.
We only use your information for the purposes explained in this Privacy Policy.
We do not treat Early Access consent as permission for broader marketing. Optional marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and only about Prawda.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Your consent when you voluntarily join our Early Access waitlist.
- Our legitimate interests in operating, maintaining and improving Prawda, provided those interests do not override your rights and freedoms.
- Compliance with legal obligations where applicable.
5. How We Store Your Information
Your information is stored securely using trusted third-party infrastructure.
We use Supabase to securely store Early Access registrations.
We use Sender to deliver Early Access emails and, where you have opted in, optional marketing emails. Sender processes your email address and email subscription status for that delivery.
Access to personal information is restricted to authorised personnel who require it to operate and improve Prawda.
6. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary to:
- Manage the Early Access programme;
- Communicate with you about Prawda;
- Meet legal or regulatory obligations; or
- Resolve disputes and protect our legal rights.
If you ask us to remove your information, we will delete it unless we are legally required to retain certain records.
7. Sharing Your Information
We may share your information with trusted service providers who help us operate Prawda.
These providers process information only on our behalf and only for the services they provide.
Sender is the email service provider for those Early Access and optional marketing emails. It processes your email address and subscription status on our behalf so the emails can be sent.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
8. International Transfers
Some of our service providers may process personal information outside the United Kingdom.
Where this happens, we take appropriate steps to ensure your information remains protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
9. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Withdraw your consent where processing is based on consent.
- Object to certain types of processing.
- Request restriction of processing.
- Request a copy of your personal information.
You can withdraw consent for these emails by using the unsubscribe link in an email, or by contacting us. A link unsubscribe is global: it stops Early Access emails and any optional marketing emails. It is not a separate preference centre.

10. Removing Your Information
If you no longer wish to remain on the Prawda Early Access waitlist, simply email:
We will remove your information from our Early Access database unless we are legally required to retain certain records.
You can also stop these emails with the unsubscribe link in any Early Access or marketing email we send. That link uses the global unsubscribe provided by Sender. It stops Early Access emails and optional marketing emails together. A later registration does not turn those emails back on after you have unsubscribed, or after an address has bounced or been reported as spam.
11. Cookies
Prawda may use essential technologies required for the operation and security of the website.
If we introduce analytics, advertising technologies or other non-essential cookies in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated and, where required, your consent will be requested before they are used.
12. Children's Privacy
Prawda is intended for individuals aged 18 and over.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate legal authority, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
